DAY VISIT

1. All reservations are provisional and may be modified or cancelled by the Field Director, subject to applicable rules and circumstances.

2. Permits are issued exclusively to the individual(s) named in the booking. Exchange, transfer, or substitution of visitors is strictly prohibited. If any named visitor is unable to visit, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and no cancellation or refund will be provided for such bookings.

3. Visitors must ensure that all reservation details are complete, accurate, and entered as per the identity document. Incomplete, incorrect, false, or abbreviated information may result in permit cancellation and denial of entry.

4. Foreign nationals must declare their nationality accurately at the time of making the reservation.

5. Visitors must carry and present the original, valid identity proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.) for verification at the time of entry. The identity document must match the details provided in the reservation.

6. The use, creation, alteration, or presentation of fake or tampered permits is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action, including imprisonment and/or fines, as per applicable law.

1. Visitors must arrive at the entry gate at least 45 minutes before the scheduled gate opening time to avoid inconvenience. Late entry will not be permitted.

2. Visitors must be accompanied by a registered Nature Guide or Naturalist during their visit.

3. Only designated vehicles registered with Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) are permitted to operate within the reserve.

4. Visitors must remain on designated trails, routes, and safari tracks and must not enter restricted areas.

5. Firearms, pets, alcohol, and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited inside the reserve.

6. Smoking and lighting fires are strictly prohibited within the reserve.

7. Loud music and excessive noise are prohibited. Visitors using audio equipment must use headphones/earphones.

8. The reserve is a litter-free zone. Visitors must carry back all non-biodegradable waste generated during their visit and must not litter inside the reserve.

9. Visitors must not disturb, tease, feed, chase, or otherwise interfere with wildlife. Violations may attract severe penalties under applicable laws.

10. The Gypsy Driver and Nature Guide are responsible for ensuring that visitors do not disturb, tease, feed, or chase animals. They must take appropriate precautions and guide visitors to prevent such behaviour. Any violation may result in legal action under Section 38J of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, as applicable.

11. All visitors are required to comply with the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, and all other applicable rules, regulations, and laws.

12. By entering Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR), visitors acknowledge and accept the risks associated with their visit, including any loss, damage, or injury to their person or property, or to any person or property for which they may be responsible. Visitors shall be responsible for any costs or expenses arising from such loss, damage, or injury.

1. Once a booking is confirmed, cancellation and refund requests will not be accepted.

2. No refunds will be provided for cancellations arising due to heavy rain, adverse weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond the control of Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR).

3. Day-visit bookings during the rainy/monsoon season are provisional and may be cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions. No refund will be provided in such cases.

4. No refund will be provided for advance reservations where entry is disrupted due to natural causes or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Where entry is disrupted due to factors beyond the control of Corbett Tiger Reserve, a partial or full refund may be considered, subject to applicable rules and the decision of the competent authority.

6. MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) charges are non-refundable. MDR is a fee charged by the bank/payment service provider for processing electronic payments and covers associated payment-processing services and infrastructure. If the payment amount is debited from the visitor's account but the ticket is not successfully booked, any refund issued will exclude the applicable MDR charges, as these charges are non-refundable.

7. Bookings made through travel agents, agencies, tour operators, or other third parties must comply with CTR's Terms of Use and official booking procedures. Any violation may result in ticket cancellation without prior notice and without refund. CTR will not be responsible for any loss or financial consequence arising from such cancellation. The tourist shall be solely responsible for any financial or other consequences resulting from bookings made through unauthorized or non-compliant third parties.

8. If you have obtained your permit through a travel agent, agency, or other third party and experience any issue or have any query regarding your booking, please contact the respective booking agent directly. While CTR may acknowledge such concerns, it will not be responsible for resolving issues related to bookings made through third parties.

9. Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to the CTR booking system, manipulate the system, or engage in activities that compromise its security or fair operation may result in strict action under applicable cybersecurity laws and regulations.

10. CTR may monitor activity on its booking system to identify and prevent prohibited activities, automated access, and booking malpractices. Such monitoring may include identifying Server-to-Server (S2S) communication or traffic associated with cloud and hosting platforms, including Azure, GCP, AWS, and Oracle Cloud. CTR will not rely solely on such indicators to determine violations. Visitors and booking agencies are expected to use the official CTR booking system fairly and must not engage in activities that disrupt or compromise access for other users. Any prohibited activity or malpractice may result in strict action, including cancellation of tickets without refund and without prior notice. For information regarding IP ranges that may attract booking restrictions, please refer to the designated IP Range information page.

11. This provision applies to Booking Agencies, Tour Operators & Planners, Information Forums, Display Boards, Banners, Signage, and Third-Party Websites. To ensure transparency and protect visitors, CTR reserves the right to cancel permits without refund and without prior notice if a tour operator or third-party website does not clearly disclose its status as a travel agent, reseller, or third-party booking service for CTR tickets.

12. Visitors enter the Corbett Tiger Reserve at their own risk. CTR shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or other consequences arising during the visit, except to the extent otherwise required under applicable law.

13. Any disputes are subject to the laws and jurisdiction of Uttarakhand, India.

NIGHT STAY

1. All reservations are provisional and subject to modification or cancellation by the Field Director, as per applicable rules and circumstances.

2. Permits are issued exclusively to the individual(s) named in the booking. Exchange, transfer, or substitution of tourists is not permitted. If the named visitor(s) are unable to visit, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and no cancellation or refund will be processed.

3. Visitors must ensure that all reservation details are complete, accurate, and entered correctly. Incomplete, false, or abbreviated information may result in permit cancellation and denial of entry.

4. Foreign nationals must accurately declare their nationality at the time of making the reservation.

5. Visitors must carry and present valid original identity proof (e.g., Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport, etc.) for verification. The identity details must match those provided in the reservation.

6. The use, creation, alteration, or presentation of fake or modified permits is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action, including imprisonment and/or fines, under applicable laws.

7. A maximum of 3 consecutive nights may be booked at a time. Any further booking may be made only after 15 days from the checkout date, subject to availability and applicable rules.

8. Visitors making a booking under the Foreigner Quota must be accompanied by at least one foreign guest during the stay.

1. Visitors must arrive at the entry gate at least 45 minutes before the scheduled gate opening time to avoid inconvenience. Late entry will not be permitted.

2. Only designated vehicles registered with Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) are permitted inside the reserve.

3. Driving beyond the designated timings or authorized routes is strictly prohibited.

4. Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited inside the reserve.

5. Visitors must not be under the influence of alcoholic, narcotic, or psychotropic substances during their stay.

6. Smoking outside designated residential complexes/Forest Rest Houses and lighting fires are strictly prohibited.

7. Firearms and pets are strictly prohibited inside the reserve. Unregistered vehicles are also not permitted.

8. Walking or trekking is prohibited except on designated Nature Trails.

9. The use of audio equipment without headphones/earphones is prohibited. Visitors must ensure that their use of audio devices does not disturb wildlife or other visitors.

10. All tourists must be accompanied by a registered Nature Guide or Naturalist during their visit.

11. The Gypsy Driver and Nature Guide are responsible for ensuring that tourists do not disturb, tease, feed, or chase animals. They must take appropriate precautions and guide tourists accordingly. Failure to comply may result in legal action under Section 38J of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, as applicable.

12. The reserve is a litter-free zone. Visitors must carry back all non-biodegradable waste generated during their stay.

13. Visitors must not disturb, tease, feed, chase, or otherwise interfere with wildlife.

14. The accommodation must be occupied as reserved on the first day of the booking. Failure to occupy the accommodation may result in cancellation of the reservation.

15. The prescribed occupancy limits applicable to each Forest Rest House must be strictly followed.

16. All visitors are required to comply with the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, and all other applicable rules, regulations, and laws governing the reserve.

17. By entering the Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR), visitors acknowledge and accept the risks associated with their visit, including any loss, damage, or injury to their person or property, or to any person or property for which they may be responsible. Visitors shall be responsible for any costs or expenses arising from such loss, damage, or injury.

1. No refunds for advance reservations if entry is disrupted due to natural causes.

2. Partial or full fee refunds may be issued if entry is disrupted due to factors beyond CTR's control.

3. Visitors enter at their own risk, and CTR is not liable for any injury or damage.

4. Any disputes are subject to the laws and jurisdiction of Uttarakhand, India.

5. No refunds for cancellations due to heavy rain or other reasons.

6. Unauthorized access attempts will be dealt with under relevant cybersecurity laws.

7. Bookings during the rainy season (1st June to 14th Nov.) are provisional and can be canceled at short notice due to weather conditions; no refunds in such cases.

8. MDR charges are non-refundable. MDR Charges - It is a fee charged by a bank for providing payment processing services. Essentially, when you make a payment at a POS or website, a small percentage of the transaction amount as MDR is charged by your bank. This fee covers the cost of processing the transaction, including the technology infrastructure, fraud protection, and administrative expenses associated with facilitating electronic payments. If the payment is deducted but the tickets are not booked, the refunded amount will exclude the MDR charges, as they are non-refundable.

9. Please note that bookings secured via travel agents, agencies, or other third parties must comply with our Terms of Use and official booking procedures. Failure to do so may result in ticket cancellation without prior notice and without refunds.
Corbett Tiger Reserve will not be held responsible for any losses incurred due to such cancellations. The tourist will be solely responsible for any financial or other consequences arising from such cancellation.

10. If you have secured your permits via any travel agent, agency, or any other third party, and you encounter any issues or queries, please contact your booking agent directly for assistance.
While we may acknowledge your concerns, Corbett Tiger Reserve will not be responsible for resolving issues related to bookings made through third parties.

Disclaimer :: Reliance on Server to Server Communication for booking tickets (S2S) :
We may monitor activity on our System to identify and prevent prohibited activities. This monitoring may involve identifying S2S (Server to Server Communication) practices which includes but not limited to AZURE, GCP, AWS, ORACLE COULD associated with your internet connection. However, we will not solely rely on these platforms to identify violations and malpractices. By booking tickets through the CTR system, you agree to avoid any practices that could disrupt a fair experience for others. Engaging in such activities may result in strict action from CTR, including the cancellation of your tickets without any refunds and prior warning/intimation. To ensure transparency and protect our customers, CTR reserves the right to cancel the permits without any refunds and prior warning/intimation of tour operators whose website fails to clearly disclose their status as a travel agent or reseller of CTR tickets.

Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms: By purchasing a ticket or entering the premises of Corbett Tiger Reserve, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not purchase tickets or enter the premises.
Termination Clause: Corbett Tiger Reserve reserves the right to terminate your access to the premises for violation of these terms and conditions or any conduct that the CTR deems inappropriate or harmful, other visitors, or the wildlife.
Ticket Purchase and Refunds: Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any request for refunds or exchanges due to lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets will not be entertained. If the ticket is not confirmed, a full refund except the service fee will be settled by CTR in the same account from which the transaction was done within 5-7 business days.
Limited Liability Clause: Corbett Tiger Reserve will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the has been advised of the possibility of such damages) arising out of or in connection with the use of the reserve or its services.
All visitors to Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) are expected to adhere to the following rules of conduct: treat all CTR staff, gate personnel, and authorities with courtesy and respect and avoid any rude or abusive behaviour. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to warnings, denial of entry, cancellation of permits, or legal action.
Intellectual Property Clause: All intellectual property rights in the web design, signs, logos, and all other proprietary materials in the reserve are owned by Corbett Tiger Reserve and/or its licensors. Any unauthorized use of these materials is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties.
Changes and Cancellations: Corbett Tiger Reserve reserves the right to change or cancel the tickets at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.
Behavior and Conduct: Visitors are expected to behave appropriately and respectfully while inside the premises. Any form of disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the premises.
Health and Safety: Visitors are responsible for their own health and safety. Those who are not feeling well are requested to wear masks. Running, pushing, or any behavior that could harm anyone is not permitted.
Personal Items: Umbrellas, pointers, sharp items, packages, and bags larger than 40 x 40 cms are not allowed inside the closed premises.
Group Visits: For organized groups consisting of more than 10 people, there should be one designated person responsible for the group.
Compliance with Local Laws: International visitors or visitors traveling to Ramnagar from other parts of the country are expected to comply with all local and state government rules and regulations.

Automatic Booking Session Recording - At Corbett Tiger Reserve( hereafter referred to as CTR), we automatically log all booking sessions on our website. It is important to note that the CTR management holds the complete authority to cancel reservations or limit access based on various factors, including but not limited to repetitive or suspicious activities, such as the utilization of AI bots, browser plugins, extensions, and similar technologies. These actions are taken to ensure adherence to our fair booking policy. .Form-field data may be temporarily captured to monitor and prevent system misuse, including but not limited to unauthorized autofill, S2S, keystroke emulator, fraudulent submissions, or tampering with verification workflows. Access to this data is strictly limited to authorized personnel for audit and abuse-prevention purposes only. No data is shared, transmitted, or made accessible to any third-party services. The data collection is used solely to safeguard the integrity of identity validation and to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. Users who agree to these terms may continue to use the system; those who do not agree should discontinue use immediately.
Data Handling for Canceled Bookings - It's important to note that when a booking is canceled, Corbett Tiger Reserve does not retain any of the associated Personal Identifiable Information data. Your privacy and data security is of utmost importance to us. However, for audit purposes, we keep only the payment reference numbers.
To ensure a faster checkout experience, your payment information such as your email, card details, etc. might be saved by the secure payment gateway we use. Neither CTR nor its technology partner stores this data on our servers. However, in very rare cases like disputes or discrepancies, we might need to retrieve it collaboratively with your bank to assist authorities or resolve the issue.
⁠ ⁠No Exchange of Tourists/Pax
Permits are issued specifically for the individual(s) named on the booking. No exchanges or substitutions of tourists are permitted. If the named individual(s) are unable to visit, the booking will be considered a no-show. No refunds or cancellations will be processed for no-shows.
By entering the CTR territory, you agree to assume all risks in respect of loss, damage and/or injury to your property/person (or anyone else whom you may be responsible for) and be liable for any cost/expense incurred arising out of such loss, damage and/or injury.
For Minor Permits / Tickets (Under 18 years of age): Parent / Legal Guardian Consent Required.If a permit / ticket includes only children under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must make the booking for them and provide written consent for the same.For travel agencies / Agents / Tour Operators - It is the responsibility of the person booking the permits to ensure written consent is obtained from a parent / legal guardian and the same is to be submitted to us via mail or at the office. CTR is not responsible for verifying consent. Bookings without documented consent may be cancelled or entry denied without any intimidation. This ensures the safety and supervision of young visitors during their visit to Corbett Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand. This can be easily done by email support@corbettgov.org with the subject line "Child Ticket Consent - [Booking Reference Number]" and attach the consent document. Submit a physical copy of the written consent at the CTR office, Ramnagar. Important Note: Bookings where all permit holders are minors and lack documented parent / legal guardian consent are subject to cancellation by CTR management, as per Indian law.
